Director of Care
Eve Maitland, RN

Eve’s extensive nursing background, both in the hospital setting and in-home care, provides terrific value to our care recipients and their families.
During her 30 year nursing career, Eve has worked in various settings within the health care field, including, but not limited to; Saint Elizabeth Visiting Nurses and Oshawa General Hospital, as well as numerous nursing homes. Her experience in home care has brought Eve to fully understand and respond to the specific needs of care recipients and seniors in general.
In addition to assisting people as they attempt to navigate the health care system, Eve is available for senior home care assessments and family consultations as well as periodic home visits.
As an integral part of our service team, Eve’s compassion, integrity, and nursing skills are a highly valued asset to Living Assistance Services, as well as our clients and care recipients.
Office Manager and Service Coordinator
Rafia Hasan, CPCA

Rafia has been with Living Assistance Services since 2004. She’s fondly referred to as the “heartbeat” of our company. Her familiarity with each of our caregivers and her ability to successfully match them with the appropriate client is legendary.
Rafia has over 9 years of office experience combined with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature & Psychology and a minor in French, an Executive Office Administration diploma and an impending Human Resources Management Graduate certificate.
Rafia is also a Certified Professional Consultant on Aging (CPCA). She received her designation in 2005 and has acquired a broad-based knowldge of the health, social and financial issues, and the dynamics of how these factors are important to seniors.
Service Coordinator
Elvira Flores, PSW, CPCA

Elvira, who has been with Living Assistance Services since 2008, is responsible for coordinating staff and ensuring clients promptly receive the services they require. She also provides emergency coverage for caregivers in the field.
She has a Personal Support Worker diploma from Medix school and is certified with the Age-Friendly Business Academy.
Director of Community Relations
Nicky Zeinis, CPCA

Nicky Zeinis is an active community volunteer having volunteered with Save the Children Canada and several other community charities and organizations. She is a Certified Professional Consultant on Aging (CPCA).
At Living Assistance Services, Nicky advises community groups and provides information on the full range of services offered by Living Assistance Services.
